Early departure from Cusco at 5:00 am is crucial for timely arrival at Machu Picchu, necessitating leaving Cusco early for the Ollantaytambo station, a journey of about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Subsequently, you can embark on the first Vistadome Panoramic train at 7:05 am. Furthermore, the Vistadome train offers a scenic journey through the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu town station, the gateway to the Inca site. We did a tour to Palcoyo and machu picchu with Tours Macchu Picchu Best. The tour was great, the driver and guide picked us up in time and we got breakfast in a restaurant along the way.
Our guide explained a lot about the area but also gave us time to take photos and enjoy the view.
I also want to mention that the lunch was much better then I would have expected.

Alexander was incredibly helpful in organizing our excursion to Machu Picchu. We had a bunch of last-minute scheduling changes and he worked with us to make sure we could all see Machu Picchu. From re-booking train tickets, to personally offering to pick-up someone from our group at the airport– he was SO helpful!
Of course Machu Picchu was fabulous. Prior to this experience I was worried about the logistics of making this happen. Alexander had everything arranged perfectly so there was someone waiting for me every step of the way which was nice. I also felt the amount of time we had was nice. Our actual guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We enjoyed this experience very much!
